On a jaunt to the mountains we encountered broadside reminders that North Carolina is "The Nation's Most Military-Friendly State." You can take that to the bank. The Institute for Southern Studies reports, overall, a negative balance.
Also of note: a billboard for Archangel Custom Cycles--with a tie-in to a biker church. God's people are on the move.
