SouthNow is the publication arm of the Program on Politics, Media and Public Life within the Center for the Study of the American South at UNC-Chapel Hill. They've recently set up shop to blog the campaign season. According to their email announcement, "The primary mission of SouthNow Blog is to provide a look at the presidential, U.S. Senate and gubernatorial races in the South as seen through the lens of major news media in the region."
We can expect good analysis here, as demonstrated by Eric David's take on North Carolina women voters and their treatment in the media.
