The fickle finger of Tony

It's hard to imagine how "Light in the Piazza" could win five six Tonys, including best original score and best musical actress, and not win best musical. I'm also amazed that Kathleen Turner in "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" didn't win best actress though her partner, Bill Irwin, won best actor. But mostly, I'm thrilled that I was able to see both shows, and I'm really thrilled for our friend Elizabeth Spencer.
