When the May 2 deadline came for receiving proposals for our downtown redevelopment project, we received two: one from Grubb Properties of Charlotte/Leyland Alliance of Tuxedo Park, N.Y., with architecture by Urban Design Associates of Pittsburgh; the other from Ram Development of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., with architecture by Duany Plater-Zyberk. It's a lot to sift through and think about, but it's really exciting to move this much closer to making this project happen.
